Marco D'Ambrosio - Composer/Audio Producer A native of Florence, Italy, Marco's musical baptism began shortly after moving from Italy to Boston, when at age nine he began playing trumpet. His musical awareness was soon captivated by film music, particularly the classic collaborations of Fellini and Nino Rota and the scores of Ennio Morricone and Bernard Herrman. This quickly led him to composition and synthesis, with a special interest in combining the textures of electronic and acoustic instruments. Marco received most of his training from the University of Hartford/Hartt College of Music in Hartford, CT., where he studied music and acoustics. back | next
